Why Hello There!
Great, now that I’ve got your attention, allow me to tell you why you need not search any longer for your talented designer. I stand here before you (metaphorically, and hopefully literally soon enough) as the precise candidate you’re looking for. Sure, my portfolio allows me to boast my more than eight years of graphic design experience, my cutting edge graphics, and my forged software skills, but it cannot clearly depict the passion I have for sports.
The Passion
I not only possess the skills for this job, but also the incessant drive to live a life of sports, that burning desire to be engaged, humbled, and most importantly, a part of the team. I spend my nights and weekends creating graphics, advertisements, taking weekly online sports design courses, and crafting design abilities that are uniquely of interest to the sports industry (e.g., jersey-swaps). I have done this with the plan that one day, I would be able to combine my skills and passion with my career. I have been fortunate to land a role as an active contractor for brand management of the University of Florida Gators Football team. This opportunity has helped fortify my sports design techniques, but also my interest in doing this in a full-time capacity.
The Inspiration
I have recently been inspired by Jen Walters and Kathryn Smith having become the first women to coach in the NFL. Inspired, but also jealous. I want to work, and be surrounded by the types of people who actually love what they do, and to see my creativity bring to life what I find the most fascinating. I share this with you because for me, a sports design job is not just a job. This is my dream. A life-goal that motivates me daily to work, to be grateful, and be passionate about the niche that I get to be a part of.
